My Ipad is WiFi only. If I photo a headstone with my Ipad and then come home to get online and send it to Billion Graves will it give the right GPS loation of the grave or will it give the location of my house?
Hi Betsy,
Unfortunately iPads with Wifi only don’t work with uploading pictures to the BillionGraves app because it doesn’t have the GPS capabilities to save the GPS locations we need with every headstone. So no, it wouldn’t record the correct GPS locations of each headstone. Coming soon, we are making BillionGraves compatible with the newest iPads that have GPS capabilities, so if you end up getting one of those anytime soon, you can look forward to that!
Correction to my last comment: any iPad that has the 3G network on it CAN be used to take pictures. If you can only get to the internet through Wifi, then your iPad will not be able to record the necessary GPS data with each headstone.
