BillionGraves Plus is typically $60 per year. But by contributing to BillionGraves, you can receive FREE access to BillionGraves Plus.
Here’s how in a nutshell: upload 2,500 or more photographs or complete 500 or more transcriptions in one month and you will receive credit for one FREE month of BillionGraves Plus.
Each credit that you earn can be activated whenever you are ready to use it. If you are already a BillionGraves Plus subscriber, your subscription will be extended for an additional month when you activate the credit.

Family Plots
It is estimated that about 70% of all people are buried in family plots. This feature uses BillionGraves’ GPS technology to show you where they are and who is buried in each one.
If you know where one of your ancestors is buried, you can use the Family Plots feature to see who else is buried there.
You may find out that your great-great-grandfather had more children than you realized. Or you may discover a whole row of gravestones with his sibling’s names. Maybe you’ll see a gravestone in the family plot labeled “infant” and it may be the only place on earth that little one’s name is recorded!

Nearby Graves
With the Nearby Graves feature, you will be able to see who is buried near your ancestors!
Family members who do not share the same family name are most likely found near other family graves. The Nearby Graves feature allows you to see those headstones – sorted by distance from the one you selected.
This can be especially useful in discovering the gravestones of a married daughter or a grandchild since they may have a different last name than the rest of the family – especially if you can’t visit the cemetery in person.

Global Family
The Global Family feature allows you to see everyone that shares the same family name on a map that is sorted by city, county, state, country, or even the whole world. You can then zoom in and see the specifics.
This is especially useful in finding the gravestone of a relative who may have moved across town from the rest of the family.

Family Notifications
You will be notified by email immediately ANYTIME a NEW RECORD comes in that matches the name and location you have selected. You don’t have to search. We search for you.

Ad-Free
One of the ways BillionGraves is able to provide free content to the world is to allow other companies to place advertisements on the BillionGraves website. But what if you don’t want to see those ads? Get BG+!

How to Earn a Free BillionGraves Plus Subscription by Taking Gravestone Photos
Upload 2,500 or more photographs in one month and you will receive credit for one FREE month of BG Plus.
The app will automatically keep track of the number of photos you take.
If you have already started taking photos and want to know how many hours you have accrued so far, simply look at the number of photos recorded on your phone and divide that number by 250. You can find the total number of photos by clicking on the dashboard icon on the main screen of the BillionGraves app on your smartphone.
